Introducing Step Outside With Togo & Nogo

Electromedia developed Step Outside with Togo & Nogo by working in partnership with the Manchester City Council Road Safety Team to provide an engaging and entertaining educational resource which delivers key pedestrian training and road safety messages for Year 2 children.

Manchester City Council uses this resource in conjunction with the practical Step Outside lesson they deliver to all their Primary schools. It can be used by authorities and schools who do not carry out practical training as it takes a very comprehensive and well rounded approach to aspects of pedestrian and road safety.

Continuing evaluation of the program is being carried out and the responses from the teachers who have and are continuing to use the program are extremely positive.

If this resource can save one Childs life, then it has fulfilled the objectives. Children, who are given the opportunity to benefit from it, will gain a valuable contribution to their education.
