About The Resource

Step Outside with Togo and Nogo is a CD-ROM based program consisting of 5 modular lessons to be completed in the classroom as a whiteboard resource or stand alone program, prior to a practical Step Outside exercise.

There are five lessons contained on the CD-ROM each in a modular (step) format containing a mixture of video sequences and interactive games along with a Teachers Resource area.

The Teachers Resource Area contains a set of printable resources that include worksheets, song and rhyme lyrics and the lesson plans. The lesson plans have been written by teachers for teachers and the printable worksheets provide a useful resource for follow-on activities and even homework!

Each of the lessons has been designed for use in other curriculum areas as well as PHSE to give the teacher more flexibility to combine two messages into one lesson period.

About Togo & Nogo

Togo & Nogo have been created to provide an engaging and entertaining introduction to the important road safety lessons delivered by the Step Outside program. Their creation took into account the necessity for them not to represent any form of gender or ethnicity. Togo is the older more knowledgeable member of the duo, whilst Nogo is in need of advice and has a playful and amusing personality.
